Blisters Suck

So I guess Mary was right.  Going for a 20+ mile run in brand new sneakers may have been a bad idea.  I earned a number of small blisters and one large blister alongside my big toe.  Then, two days later, I earned a dreaded blister under my toenail.  Even after my impromptu in-my-office surgery with a dirty push-pin it continued to throb like crazy.  It required about 5 operations before the pain decreased.

I wonder how my run will go today or if I will be sidelined by a stupid blister?
