It has amazed me over these few years that I’ve been a runner at how big of an impact my diet makes on my running as well as my mood and energy levels (high energy usually means a very good mood for me). I like the simple idea of splitting your plate into thirds (protein, carbs, and vegtables). I try to give half my plate to veggies and a quarter to protein and carbs. Maybe I don’t get enough protein?
